Company Background

Sound Productions Limited, formerly Tannoy Ireland Limited, was founded in 1944. As part of the Sound Systems Group of companies, we merged with ITR to become Cable & Wireless Ireland in 1990. In 1993 Sound Productions was acquired privately and is now a wholly Irish owned company.

Located in modern premises in South Dublin, Sound Productions is a leading distributor of audio equipment through its dealer network throughout Ireland. In recent years Sound Productions Ltd have been to the forefront in the promotion and design of life safety systems and is now a major supplier of voice alarm systems in Ireland. We now offer a consultancy service in building, environmental and electro acoustics. Our fully qualified consultants are registered with the Institute of Acoustics.
